BCCI Liquidation

In 1994, Me DUGAST advised the liquidators of BCCI and obtained about 800 million dollars from the Bank’s debtors. As a result of this, the creditors were paid a very important dividend.

JTI SA General Counsel

While being the General Counsel of JTI SA, Me DUGAST negotiated with the European Commission and the Member States an agreement, regarded as historical, to fight contraband and counterfeit of cigarettes. He also brought to an end the legal actions initiated by the European Commission and the Member States against JTI SA before US Courts, whereby JTI SA was sued for billions of dollars.
